DIY Sunflower Garland For A Frozen Fever Party
For Wendy’s 2nd birthday we threw her a Frozen Fever birthday party and she had a lot of fun. I spent weeks preparing for the day and it was all worth it. One of the easier DIY projects that I finished was a sunflower garland banner. If you’re looking for an easy DIY for a Frozen Fever themed party or just like sunflowers, this is the craft project for you.
These are really easy to put together and you don’t need much.
Here’s a list of what I used:
- a package of yellow doilies (mine came with 50)
- brown construction paper
- scissors
- glue stick or glue gun (glue gun is the better option)
- string
Cut 50 circles out of the brown construction paper. I used a drinking glass to trace the circles, then cut them. If you have a Silhouette or Cricut machine you can use that and save a lot of time.
Take your brown cut-outs and glue one to the front of each of the doilies.
Once you have glued all the brown dots to the doilies, tape the sunflowers to long pieces of string. Then tape sunflowers to the back of the first sunflower. It will hide the string should the sunflowers move. I created three strings to hang behind the dessert table and one string to table on the front of the table.
These are really that easy. It only took me an hour or so to put them together.
