5 Things to Love About Disneyland Paris

If you’re on the fence about whether or not you should visit Disneyland Paris, I’m here to tell you that the answer is yes. GO SEE this wonderful Disney park. I know it’s not everyone’s favourite Disney Park but I enjoyed it and here are 5 things to love about Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris Castle with snow

The Dragon Underneath the Castle

DLP Disneyland Paris Dragon under the castle

Measuring over 75 feet long and weighing over 5,500 pounds, the Disneyland Paris dragon is a pretty interesting attraction. I believe it’s also the only dragon hidden underneath any of the Disney Parks castles, so it’s definitely a must-see. When you approach the castle from Main Street, keep to your left and take the path under the castle. Not only is the dragon in a dark cool-looking cave, but it also moves, roars breathes smoke and is the largest animatronic character in the park.

Remy’s Ride

This ride is actually coming to Walt Disney World and I can’t wait. It was amazing. The whole ride is from the perceptive of a mouse. It combines 3D effects, screens, and thrills to make this an enjoyable trackless ride. Prior to going to Disneyland Paris, I checked out Youtube videos of the ride, and honestly, I just don’t think they do it justice or Disneyland’s version of a Paris street justice, especially at night. The line can be rather long, so be sure to head over right at park opening or just before the park closes.

The main train line to Paris is just outside the gates

Eiffel Tower in February

That’s right, transportation to and from the airport, to Paris proper, and to Disneyland is super easy. The main train line is literally a few steps outside the main gate. So when you are done touring the parks or you want to eat a baguette on the lawn of the Eiffel Tower, walk to the main gate and catch a 45-minute train into the city.

You can tour both parks and Downtown Disney in 3 days or less

Disneyland and the Walt Disney Studios are small enough that you can see and do everything you want in 3 days or less.

Snowy Days at Disney

Yup, it snows there and it is magical. Just pack a coat and some cute boots and get ready for all the winter wonderland photo.

Have you been to Disneyland Paris? What did you enjoy about the parks?
